St. Patricks Day

Does Carnival do anything special for St Paddy's Day? Special party, green beer anything?

We were on the Freedom for it a few years back and I don't remember anything special being done and I probably would have noticed since I'm Irish. Some fellow passengers wore green and hats, stuff like that but it definitely wasn't a theme on the ship or party atmosphere. Maybe it varies from cruise to cruise and others have experienced something different.

They don't do anything for Arbor day either:(

Some of the pictures they take have a St. Patrick's Day border on them and you can have pics taken with a SPD background. Lots of pax will wear SPD t-shirts and other stuff.

They may have a special dish or green beer.

We are on the Freedom during St Pats stop at Key West! We all have green shirts and other nonsense to wear!

I was on the Victory for St Patty's day 2013 and they had lots of activities, ie a leprechaun rubber duck scavenger hunt (first couple people to find them all got SOS), a pub crawl party with the CD, and they had a costume contest which my mom won! Haha! They also had free face painting and were giving away bead necklaces. It was really fun. I'm sure there were other activities too, I just can't remember right now because it was a while ago.
