AI Price Rise

Recommended Posts

Got to admit we are paying loads of money for a Thomson cruise next year, but the itinerary is better than many going out of the likes of Miami. We could have cruised on a five star (or even better) for the same amount, but with 5 sea days instead of just 2 with Thomson. We did do the so called AI package at £10 a day, so just hope that works out.

We have 2 cruises booked this year with Thomson.

The first we booked on 31st December for 20 November. Paid £506 each (cruise only) and got free A.I. - Total £1012. Free AI is still available and the price has dropped by about £50 per person.

The second we booked last week for 3 April. Paid just £273 (cruise only) but the AI was £398 so together the total would have been £944. We haven' t taken the AI option so have spent so far just £546.

Will be interesting to see what our drinks bill is at the end of the week. If, as I suspect, it is considerably less than £398 in future we will be very tempted to leave booking until the last minute. Time will tell.
