Thanks JVSUZETA. I'll keep checking my email and the website! I feel like I'm on a serious mission. LOL, but I WANT one of those dang passes!!

Thanks for keeping your fingers crossed Cruisemama. Sometime I feel silly worrying over a FTTF pass. LOL

Thanks to you also SML3, hopefully we will have a smooth embarkation as you did!

Boopsahoy, Go to Manage my Cruise, then plan activities. FTTF is included in the shore excursions.

We sailed on Feb 22 and I checked the weekend prior on the 15th and 8 FTTF passes became available. My advice is to keep checking back. It was definitely worth the $50 as we sailed through the embarkation process, our room was ready, the luggage was there and the tender ports were very easy as we were escorted to the tenders and given priority boarding. Very important if you have excursions booked, especially private ones not through Carnival. Debarkation had us zone 1 and first off the ship if we had chosen to do so. Luggage waiting. All good.

Also a bonus, was our own line at guest services so no waiting in a line sometimes 10-15 people long.

Just wanted to give an update as to my experience in trying to get a FTTF Pass and to see if anyone has any advice.

So I emailed Shore Excursions on Friday Night. Haven't heard from anyone yet. Called Carnival this morning. The lady told me that the only way a FTTF pass opens is if someone cancels. She didn't even want my booking number to check for me when I offered it. She said I would need to keep checking the website to see if one opens up and that they could not email to let me know. Weird....I know I've read on CC where you guys have emailed and they at least responded  Maybe the Carnival lady just answers general customer service questions and doesn't know a lot about FTTF or excursions. I'll keep checking the website and my email. Hopefully someone from shore excursions will respond eventually.

Either way I'm still very excited about our cruise! The FTTF would just make it a little bit better.

I'll let you know if and when I hear something. :)

Just received an email back! Not exactly what I wanted to hear, but they did respond. Here is the response.....

Thank you for your Faster to the Fun query. Due to a recent large number of these waitlist requests being sent to this address, we will do our best to notify you but best we can promise right now is yes, request received, and we will do our very best to add additional space for your sailing and whenver possible. Please know it ultimately depends on the numbers of Diamond and Platinum guests sailing.

Wishing you a wonderful cruise,

Best Regards,

Hmm... First time I've seen that.... and come to think of it, it's right after someone posted their email address on here.

Strange. Very strange.

(Me thinks I'm not going to be hearing back any time soon about my 3/23 sailing.)

"Due to a recent large number of these waitlist requests being sent to this address..."

I find it a little strange how that email was worded. The FTTF is on the excursions section of their site. It sounds as though there is a different address we should be emailing about it. Maybe they were just unprepared for the popularity of FTTF?

Curiouser and curiouser...

Nothing curious about it.

From what I've read on here, sounds like they were helping on a case by case basis. And sounds like many were quite successful... "5 minutes later, they replied back!"

Then sounds like the floodgates opened (from where I wonder??*), and now its a generic, "Thanks, received, we'll try, no promises."

Agreed. Probably wasn't a good idea that several folks started emailing the excursions desk for them to open more FTTF slots. It's always been based on how many platinum and diamond members there are booked on the cruise. The OP was lucky and they had some to release anyway. Doesn't mean just because the next person sends an email that they will release more for their sailing. Just watch and see if more open up. I'm sure, if they have even one slot available they will throw it out there for purchase.

Do you need to be fully paid up to get faster to the fun?

Its available and wont let me book....panic!

No. Just booked and your deposit paid. So long as you're logged in and they have slots available, you should be able to book. Just call Carnival and do it.

FTTF was sold out for our cruise. I checked 5-6 times a day for about 3 weeks. (It's not hard with a smart phone)

One opened up around midnight on a Friday night. I checked it right before bed and booked it. Maybe I was just lucky, but have patience and be persistent. You may be able to get it. We did.

I booked one this morning for the June 1st cruise on the Breeze. I sent an email to Carnival last night inquiring about future slots. Although I never received a response, 2 slots were available this morning. I'm not sure if it was just a coincidence or if my email had something to do with it.

So do you find if they are available by going to excursions and searching under the embarkation day?

I don't know if the matters...but I logged out / in of site first, then....

1. Manage my cruise

2. My booking

3. Plan activities

4. Selected the FTTF

5. It no longer said "sold out" so I purchased!!!

Hope this helps.

I did what you said-When I clicked plan activities it brings me to the excursions area. After that theres no where that I see the fttf saying available OR sold out:eek: I did search under the embarkation day as well and it says no excursions. Sorry if i am being a little thick about this, I just want to be sure Im looking in the correct spot. Im not used to Carnivals site at all.

Did you arrow over through all the excursions? Its not usually on the first set. There is a green arrow to the left and right. Use it to move to the next excursion until you find it. You may message me if you like.

Do you have a Facebook account. You could send me a friend request and message me there. CC says the private message option is not enabled right now.
