ockelly Posted March 1, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 1, 2014 Has anyone used Antigua Paddles for kayaking etc?
Cruising Lions Posted March 4, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 4, 2014 We did it several years ago and had a great time. Cheaper if you book direct rather than on the ship Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app
icequeen Posted March 5, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 5, 2014 We have done their Eco-Tour twice and have had a great experience both times. We booked directly with them as it was cheaper. We took a boat to Bird Island and did a small hike to the highest point for a great view and then did some snorkeling off a small beach. There was a lot of seaweed until you get out a bit further so not the most awesome snorkel ever but still saw lots of fish and the water was crystal clear. We also walked across to the other side of the island and found a completely private area where there were no people and had a lovely quiet time paddling around in the water. Then we took the boat to another spot where we embarked on the kayak part of the excursion. The guide pointed out some landmarks and famous people's homes and gave educational info about the island's eco-system, mangroves, etc. A fun and yet informative excursion. We would highly recommend them!

runnergirlcinci Posted March 10, 2014 #5 Share Posted March 10, 2014 I agree with Icequeen's review. We have done Paddles and Eli's Eco tour and would definitely pick Paddles. Enjoy!!
Rare printingchick Posted January 25, 2016 #6 Share Posted January 25, 2016 I too have done this tour twice. Once about ten years ago, and once just two weeks ago (January 2016). It was FANTASTIC both times. I very highly recommend and agree that booking directly is absolutely the way to go!
VPIcruiser Posted April 3, 2016 #7 Share Posted April 3, 2016 We did the Eco tour two weeks ago and really enjoyed. Our van driver to and from the ship was a great tour guide and gave lots of interesting information. The men who drive the boats and guide the kayaking, hiking, and snorkeling were also very nice and helpful. Our kids had a great time. It was a fun, beautiful half-day tour. Trying to decide if these tour would be good with my girls - age 9.
