Maddycakes Posted March 1, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 1, 2014 Hi fellow cruisers, We just signed up for of first cruise NCL cruise on the Getaway. In the past we have been very loyal RCI fans. However, with the lower fares and the freesome promotion we could not resist. Can anyone give me any information regarding what to expect with the savings coupons? Bottom line is they are not worth the paper they are printed on. Most of the deals are often offered on board w/out the coupons.
david_sobe Posted March 1, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 1, 2014 (edited) Yes unfortunately the coupons are not worthy of very much. A few examples: Spend $400 in the spa and get 10% off on port days Save 5% when you buy $250 worth of photos Get a free bingo card when you buy $100 bingo cards (Note: these are examples and not actual coupons... just giving the idea) The only worthy ones were buy one dinner at La Cucina and get the other free. But this was not available on Epic or the new ships. So it was worthless to us. And there was a slot coupon. Spend $20 in slots and get $10 for slots free Edited March 1, 2014 by david_sobe

You'd probably have to spend $1000 or more in order to save $300. IMO they aren't worth the paper they're printed on.
millineumwoman Posted March 2, 2014 #5 Share Posted March 2, 2014 (edited) I was on epic this past summer and the coupons were useless, there was a coupon for one of the bingos that if u spent so much $ u got free tickets for the free cruise draw, and another one u got a free bingo card (only one card not the sheet) yes most of them were deals that u could already get on board. Nothing to get excited for ( I was so disappointed) Edited March 2, 2014 by millineumwoman
