Stateroom 4172 Zuiderdam Info

Before booking 4172 (shower only) on the Zuiderdam I did several searches on the CC boards for info on the shower size and never really got a firm answer. Some said it was the size of the bath tub just with out the tub. Not true. It's more like a large RV shower. It was fine for us but may be a little tight for some. On the plus side, the counter space around the sink was very ample. Friends that were staying in a regular bathroom stateroom has a much smaller counter.

 

A pleasant surprise was the depth of the balcony. It must have been about 6 or 7 feet deep. Looking at the balcony above us, ours seemed to be about 2 feet deeper.

The commonly quoted size for that balcony is 7.5 ft, and the ones above 6 ft, so you had about 1.5 ft exposed, like these people:
