Change to Open Booking Deposit

Speaking to my T/A yesterday he mentioned that SS have now reduced the period in which the booking must be made to 6 months. I have one that I took out in January this year and that clearly states there is 1 year to make the booking so looks like a very recent change (for UK readers "Hutbers law" may apply = improvement means deterioration).

Goodness knows why they have done this although it seems they are still perfecting the art of reducing the product and dont know what to change next. I have a similar open booking with Seabourn that I have 3 years to book.

Any bets on the next "improvement" they can dream up?
