Hotel/Train

Recommended Posts

My mom usually stays at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth. It's a very nice hotel, but might be a bit expensive for some. It's right above the train station. I don't know if you even have to go outside. Last time I went we stayed at the Cantlie hotel which is about a 10 minute walk from the train station. It's an older hotel but still very clean and nice. I think it's a bit less expensive than the Queen E. Montreal is a beautiful, walkable city so we use any excuse to walk around when we are there.

Sorry - Montreal

Good news is that the train station is downtown, and there are at least 3 hotels connected to the train station by underground passage: the aforementioned Fairmont Queen Elizabeth, the Hilton Bonaventure and the Marriott Château Champlain. Depending on the time of year, I can sometimes get some pretty good deals at the Marriott. When will you be there?
