Free UDP and UBP Promotion How does it work?

We are in our first suite in September S5 Haven on the Breakaway. Included are the free UDP and UBP. We enjoy the specialty Restaurants and looking forward to a very special week. My question is about the logistics on how the program works. Are gratuities included in the free program? How do I know that the staff are getting paid for the service they provide? I am assuming free means free. Has anyone used this promotion yet and how did it work? Does the full charge appear on my invoice, including gratuities and the full amount then somehow credited back...kind of like it works when we purchase a UBP plan?
