Disney Cruise Activity Reservations: Brunch

We are newbies:o and need to make activity and dining reservations for our 5/31 Fantasy cruise. Per the DCL site, our ability to make reservations starts on 3/17 (Slainte!:D). My question is: do online reservations open at midnight to get first dibbs on these as soon as possible? We have our hopes set on brunches at Palo and Remy; we are still a bit overwhelmed by Port Adventure options and might just do a shopping walkabout and carping out at the beach. TIA!! (PS I am so happy I found this site=->)

Online check in and excursion booking windows open at midnight Eastern time. Whatever time that is where you are.

One note, you must log into the DCL site AFTER midnight. If you are already logged in prior to midnight, just clicking "refresh" won't do it. The DCL computer still thinks it's whatever time/day it was when you first logged in.

OK, another note - if you are unable to book the desired brunch/dining reservations you want, DCL does hold back a number of reservations from the online booking process for booking onboard. When you board the ship, if you still need reservations, go to where the Palo/Remy dining changes are being handled onboard and make your request for what you want.

The above is totally correct. About half of the reservations are never made available on line, but are held till after boarding.

If you can get a reservation on line, take it (even if it isn't the time/day you'd really like). Then, whether you have a reservation that you want to change or you have no reservation, go to the location for Palo reservations listed on the Welcome Aboard Navigator that you can get in the terminal. They will be happy to give you a reservation if one is available. They will be even more happy to move an existing reservation.

Bottom line--easier to move one than to get one from scratch...so take one on line if available. If it totally proves to not be workable, you can cancel on board.
