Sports balls on FOS?

Recommended Posts

Last cruise the men and boys had a great time playing dodgeball and are looking forward to it again. The issue was that balls kept going over board and the last game was cancelled and no more played because too many were lost at sea ;). I guess the balls must be biodegradable (?). Anyway, are they still playing and have they figured out how to keep balls from going overboard (nets? etc). The guys were talking about bringing along extra balls so they could be sure they got to play but not sure what to buy. Anyone else as crazy as them???

The crew stopped the games on our May 2013 FOS cruise. They said they were only allowed to lose one ball overboard each day.

It's been a few years since I've been on a Freedom Class ship, but I never understood why the sports deck wasn't completely covered. I saw lot's of soccer balls kicked overboard.
