Last Friday my ipad had a moment and I inadvertently placed another stateroom on courtesy hold. When I access my reservations it still says courtesy hold for 24 hours. In effect this is preventing someone else from booking it. I mentioned it to my TA who said it will disappear eventually. Should I speak to Celebrity or wait for it to disappear? Hi Jules, I'm fairly certain the booking will drop out of the system at any moment, but if you have the booking number, you can always give Celebrity a call, and ask them to cancel the online booking. Project_gal Posted March 26, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 26, 2014 You can easily cancel the courtesy hold if you go into your My Celebrity account - I know I managed to do the same as you the other day. My TA also couldn't cancel it. May have to speak to X. It will teach me to be too inquisitive! I will have another look tonight and see if I can solve it. Apologies, I did not realise that you booked through a TA. That probably makes a difference. I noticed, yesterday, that they have added a new button - for you to say you want to "own" the reservation - when you add a new reservation to My Celebrity.
