Golden Princess 'Secret Balcony'

We are thinking of doing a 30odd day South America cruise on the Golden Princess. Looking at cruise ship deck plans on decks 10 and 11 it shows a door leading outside very aft.

Can somebody please advise if this is a 'secret balcony' for passenger use?

Many thanks

We were on the South American cruise on the Golden Princess this past December. We were on the Aloha Deck and there is a door at the end of the hallway that leads to the aft pool and lounge area. It's open to everyone and it has stairs that lead up to the Horizon court and aft bar.

That area is a stairway for crew use only.

Thank you all for your responses. Very helpful :)

After doing more research, my wife wants to book an inside on the Lido deck :)

Ask her to check out the insides aft on Aloha deck. There is a door that opens to the Terrace Pool and one floor up is the Horizon Court. The Terrace Pool area is adults only, is usually fairly quiet and has great wake views.
