Renting mobility scooter

Can you rent a mobility scooter from Carnival? If so, how much? Or has anyone here experienced renting one in Galveston?

NO Carnival does not rent them but you can rent them thru an independent rental company that delivers directly to the ship. Someone will give you the name of one of those companies momentarily I am sure. I do know that there are size specs. They need to fit thru rather narrow doorways unless you have a handicap accesible cabin. Can't leave them in tbe hallways. You have to charge them in your room.

You can rent them. IIRC there are two companies that will rent scooters.

 

What kind of cabin do you have?Need to make sure that whatever scooter you rent will go thru the door.

Also scooters have to be stored in your cabin not in the hallway.

you must make arrangements for a "modified cabin or handicap cabin... call Carnival and ask for the special needs dept.

 

they will deliver to your room in galveston... you just leave it in your room when you dis-enbark

the cost depends on the length of the cruise and what size scooter you need
