Resort Casual / Tropical dress on the 4 night Wonder cruises?

Hi all. We will be cruising the Wonder for 4th of July & I was wondering about what we should wear to the dining room at night. I was reading Passporter's DCL guide & my husband is not sure what resort casual / tropical dress means for this cruise.
He usually wears a polo-collared short sleeve shirt and dockers/dress pants for dinner on our previous cruises. Is Disney more casual? He would wear a polo shirt with dress shorts to dinner if he could! (Do men wear shorts to dinner on the 4 night Wonder?)
He's happy there is no formal night on the Wonder, no jackets to pack.

Shorts are a no no.

Business casual with a jacket is "recommendated" the night you eat in Tritons, in which you could possibly end up in twice.

The other two restaurants, dockers are fine, with a shirt.

My hubby packed both short and long sleeve button shirts, shorts, and slacks (no jackets) on our 4 night Wonder cruise May 23rd. He's normally a t-shirt and jeans guy and was groaning about the policy. By the end of the cruise he was glad I made him pack accordingly. He even wished he'd packed a suit jacket for Palo! He wore a short sleeve Hawaiian shirt and slacks for Tropical night. I ran out of nice clean clothing and wore a tropical shirt with jeans. I could tell I got lots of side-stares and the weather was so humid at night I was sweating. Jean shorts and skirts are fine. Don't even bother with jeans unless you're travelling that day. Don't worry too much about your clothing and have fun!

Jeans and shorts are NOT welcome in the dining room during dinner, however they are fine for breakfast and lunch.

Golf/Polo style shirts and chino'Docker style slacks are fine for all dinners on teh WOnder, although if you plan on eating at Palo you might want to consider either a sports coat to wear over the polo, or a button down shirt and tie. The jacket would also be preferable for Triton's, however a tie in not neccesary.
