aleminggkk Posted May 10, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 10, 2014 Do you have children who are early birds? My children ( 3, 8, 10yo ) are early birds and wake up with the sun. This is going to be our first cruise. We will be on the Carnivals Legend. I like to know what to do in the morning if my children are wide awake from 7am. Is buffet open early for breakfast?. I already know Camp Carnivals starts at 10am. When do swimming pools, water slides, mini golf open? I think they will adjust to holiday time and sleep in half way through the cruise. I am more thinking the first couple of days when every thing is new and they are full of energy. I posted in carnivals board too. Hope all mum and dad cruisers here can give me some tips, and share your experiences. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
cb at sea Posted May 10, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 10, 2014 Yes..the buffet will be open, and room service is an option, also. The pools will be open, too...I don't think mini-golf ever closes...you just go and play! However, I'm betting they sleep later than normal...the rocking of the ship and all that!! Jridou Posted May 10, 2014 #3 Share Posted May 10, 2014 Lol, I *WISH* my kids slept til 7! We went on a cruise when my daughter was 2 when she got up every morning at 4 am! The only thing open was the front desk, and we'd visit with the women who worked the night shift. We'd basically kill 3 hours looking at art, wandering thru the closed casino and then hitting the lido deck for breakfast at 6. Anyway, that was probably totally unhelpful but it did bring back some funny memories. Now my daughter is 13 and I take great joy when I wake her up at 10! aleminggkk Posted May 11, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted May 11, 2014 Thanks cb at sea. 😊Good to know there will be food and something to do. Jridou, yes, we are going through the stage where my 3yo will wake up at 4:30am in summer when the birds begin to sing. 6am is their regular wake up time. So I will be happy with 7am starts during holiday. 😀 Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
