luggage tag question

As someone who had not flown in 26 years, should I put a sticker inside my checked luggage as to where I am going? I did before when I traveled. But with security issues today I'm not sure what to do. And I do know not to put my home address on the luggage tag outside.

With security these days, actually ADDING identification is a good thing.

ALWAYS, ALWAY have multiple means of identification on and in your bag. You want them to be able to find you if it gets.

We always put our cell phone number(s) on the tags. That way they can call you if the bag gets separated. We of course carry our cell phones with us. (some people opt to turn them off - don't get me started)
