Airport to Grand Bazaar?

What is the best way to get from the airport (Istanbul Atatürk Airport) to the spice market in Istanbul? We are looking for the easiest and fastest way to get there.

The Spice Market and the Grand Bazaar are two different markets in two different locations.

We did a cruise out of Istanbul last Sept/Oct. Loved the city. The airport is south west of the city a bit away from the city center. A taxi would be the best way to get there. If you have a group and can share costs, we used eyewitness travel, as for Huseyin.

The Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar are located NW of the Sultanmet area (where the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia are located).

 

The Spice Bazaar is located not far from the southern end of the Galata bridge. The Grand Bazaar is about a half mile walk south of the Spice Bazaar.

A pre-booked car costs only 20 to 25 euros. Plenty of operators like http://www.istanbulairportstransfer.net/

 

By public transport from the airport means metro to Aksaray, then longish walk to tram stop, tram to Beyazıt-Kapalıçarşı, then walk to top entrance of the Grand Bazaar. Time-consuming & exceptionally awkward with luggage.

 

If you exit the Grand Bazaar at the bottom end it's a five minute walk to the Spice Bazaar.

Thank you all for your help. I think we will go with a taxi. A shuttle would be nice, but our flight is coming from DC so who knows what time we'll actually arrive and get through customs.
