Tigers2 Posted June 4, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 4, 2014 I'm booked of the FOS in a week and received my docs. yesterday. I normally book onboard and receive $100 OBC and a reduced deposit of $100. What is the current policy? It looks like it changed to only a $25 OBC for $100?? If this is the case......it's better waiting to the WOW sale? Any insight? Tigers2 Posted June 4, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted June 4, 2014 Mid March 2014. WOW!! A very significant change for me! What is the recommendation now for booking? Thank You!
leaveitallbehind Posted June 4, 2014 #6 Share Posted June 4, 2014 WOW!! A very significant change for me!What is the recommendation now for booking? Thank You! Although the OBC has been significantly reduced with the new guidelines, the advantage of the reduced deposit and flexibility with future choice of itineraries remains. To me that still has value with the certificates. So the choice remains IMO as an individual one with booking a planned itinerary on board with the higher OBC or securing the reduced deposit and at least some OBC for a yet to be determined future cruise. Clarea Posted June 4, 2014 #7 Share Posted June 4, 2014 WOW!! A very significant change for me!What is the recommendation now for booking? Thank You! The open booking no longer has any appeal to me. I will book specific cruises on board.
