Is it cheaper to buy the package when you get on the ship or beforehand?

They used to occasionally run 10% off sales but they have disappeared since X started running the 123Go promotion. I would be surprised if they returned at this point since 123Go is so successful.

No, it is the same price whether you buy it before hand or on the ship. There was a brief period when it was cheaper to buy it beforehand, but that has now ended.

If you aren't from the US, it may pay to watch the currency fluctuations and buy it as soon as the rates are in your favor. Celebrity charges you at booking time, not when you board. If it saves you only a little, it may not be worth your time - but if the dollar is fluctuating dramatically against your currency, and if it is fun for you to watch it, then it is worth it. You probably can tell I haven't been checking recently since we don't have an abroad trip planned soon. When we were going to Italy & England, I was watching the pounds and euros.
