We thought the menus sounded weird also, especially since we are very picky eaters and don't like much. We debated the alternate menus and carving station or pasta bar also. In the end, we decided to just stick with the standard menu choice. We figured that it at least had chicken nuggets to satisfy the picky people like us. And fruit is a standard part of the set up also. Husband and I were actually too busy socializing to actually eat much at the reception (although I can tell you the fruit was delicious). Luckily, we ran to buffet to eat before getting dressed for wedding, because we knew that we would likely be too busy to eat at reception.

 

But, our guests LOVED the standard menu and we didn't hear one complaint. We did hear many people saying the apps were delicious though. And some of the options that we thought were weird, were items that they liked most. So, I don't think you can really go wrong with whatever you choose.

 

Luckily, my sister-in-law thought to get photos of the reception food, so I've attached those for you.

I, too, would appreciate a copy of the menu choices. I only have one menu option at this time. Thanks

There are actually a total of 4 menus. You can pick and choose and mix and match, the only criteria is that you get 6 hot and 5 cold or 5 hot and 6 cold. I know that doesn't answer you question but it does give you more options.

 

If you send me your email I'll be happy to send copies of the alternate menus.
