RCCL Crown & Anchor Savings Certificates

Recommended Posts

Hello all! This might have been discussed previously but I do not remember seeing this. I logged into my Crown & Anchor page & was looking for the Savings Certificates that we could use to save on future cruises & they are gone?

I am assuming that I must have missed it or been asleep at one point  but wondering with what they have been replaced.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

No more certificates. Instead discounts are automatic. If you look at cruise prices while logged into your My Cruise account, the prices will be automatically adjusted for your C&A discount.

Thank you very much for this information. I see what you are talking about. I usually look up prices without logging in & I see now when I log in it automatically gives me the C & A discount.

Again thanks! ;)

And there are no set $$ amounts. Also they can be added or taken away at anytime not just at the beginning of each quarter like the old ones. So if you see a C and A savings your can't assume that ill be there until the end of the quarter

Our last cruise was on Celebrity - we went from Emerald status (in RCI) to Elite status (Celebrity). It was great!

Now we are returning to RCI in September, and are now Diamond status. Does anyone know if they still give you discount booklets? Everything we are reading about 'perks' is pretty confusing - they say that the Explorer of the Seas does not have a Diamond lounge, that we will be entitled to 3 drinks/day (added to our SeaPass daily), that there will be a separate Diamond cocktail event, but that you cannot take your 'complimentary' drinks into the dining room. Does anyone have any info on these, what seem like technicalities?

You've got the dining room voucher thing a bit confused. You cannot use a voucher to order a drink while you are in the dining room. However, if you have a drink from a bar, you can certainly take it into the dining room.

There are still coupons, but they are electronic now. Here are the current Diamond coupons:

  • Beverage Discount - purchase any wine, beer or soda by the glass and get a second one free.
  • Glass of Wine, Beer or Soda Discount - receive a 20% discount.
  • Complimentary Non-Alcoholic Coffee Beverage - one complimentary non-alcoholic specialty coffee drink with purchase of dinner in any specialty restaurant.
  • Johnny Rockets - 2 for 1 milkshake.
  • Photo Discount - Get 10% off a Digital Photo package or a custom created PhotoBook.
  • Complimentary Photo - Free any size photo of your choice from printed photograph selection on display (cannot be a reprint or special request).
  • Free Internet Minutes - 30 minutes of free internet use.
  • Internet Discount - 20% off any internet package purchase.
  • Stateroom Phone Discount - $2.00 per minute stateroom phone rate (75% discount).
  • Wash & Fold Coupons per book - $10.00 off one $25.00 USD bag of laundry on Wash & Fold Day (4+ nights sailings only).
  • Wash & Fold Coupons per book - $10.00 off one $25.00 USD bag of laundry on Wash & Fold Day (8+ nights sailings only).
  • Dry Cleaning & Pressing Discount - $5.00 USD off any dry cleaning or pressing services of $25.00 USD or more.
  • 3 Free Casino "Spin to Win" Coupons.
  • Bingo Credit - Purchase any bingo package and receive one free strip of 6 Jackpot Bingo Cards.
  • Gift Shop Discount - Spend $25.00 USD or more on RCI logo and receive a 15% discount.
  • Art Auctions - 20% off Custom Framing on any Art on Royal Purchase
  • Fine Jewelry Discount - Spend $1000 USD on Fine Jewelry and receive a 15% discount.

Don't know if it is just me, or if it is because of recent sales, but I have yet to see a single discount. Even cruises that are so say in the list of discounted cruises are coming up at the same price as not being logged in.

I even rang and asked before the sales as there was a cruise I was interested in that was listed, but couldn't find the discount. I was told it wasn't every sailing in the list, and for those it did apply to there were limited cabins. Even they couldn't see which cabins or sail dates were available.

Personally I think it is way to much hassle to try to work out where the offers are available with it. At least provide an accurate list of cruises that have the offer. It has to be one of the least user friendly changes they have made. (Or do we put it down to IT:D)

I agree, I haven't seen any C&A discounts either, however the system has been applying the balcony discount to the price when I log in.

Here is the link to the Current Listing of Exclusive Onboard Offers by C&A Level This list may vary slightly depending on class of ship.

Same here. When we click on "exclusive rates" in C&A and then "see cruises", they all come up at regular price with no discount.

Add me to the list who sees no discounts. The savings certificates worked just fine, there were not limited cabins for which you could use them and sailings didn't seem to be all that limited. I think C&A has pulled a fast one on us and we've been had.:(

OT but, there were no balconies left when I booked so the balcony discount was worthless. I know, I know, it's my fault for booking so late in the game.:o It would just be nice to get a little something, if and when balconies are sold out because being emerald, and almost diamond, is getting me pretty close to nothing.
