Cruising on Celebrity Equinox to Greek Isle/Med

Would appreciate any recommendations for Hotel Stays and things to must do in Barcelona, Spain (embarkation port) and Athens ,Greece (Disembarkation port). Plan to stay a few extra days on either end after 12 day cruise to Greek Isle and Med next June:)

Post on the Ports of call/destinations boards rather than here on the cruise board and you'll find plenty of ideas. Also post on your Roll Call as others may have already looked into this and will have their own recommendations.

We returned a few weeks ago after 13 nights out of Barcelona on the Equinox. We stayed two nights pre cruise at Hotel Jazz. Great location just off La Rambla.

Lots of ideas on the Spain ports of call board but I suggest using the Hop On Hop Off bus. We used this. Great way to see the city.

 

Hope you enjoy the EQ as much as we did. Great crew. Very friendly. Made our time on the EQ a great one. Can't help with the debarkation in Athens as Venice was our debarkation port.
