Where to go with kids ages 12,5,9?

Have not been to st Thomas in a very long time. Can someone recommend where to go with the kids!? Best beaches? Tours?

For a beach the kids will enjoy Coki is probably the best choice, $8pp taxi each way. Chair and snorkel gear rentals and several vendors selling food & drinks. Coral World is also there so you could go there then enjoy the beach, take a look at their site.

If you are looking for a beach, Coki will be a great choice for you. Easy swimming and snorkeling from the beach, and like Above said, Coral World is right there too. We can't wait to go back!

Magens is another choice, larger bay but still a busier beach. But research both and see what makes sense to you.

When ours were 12 and 10 we took them on a 2 hour tour of the island in an open Safari. The views were spectacular and they enjoyed it as much as we did, the driver then dropped us at the beach (we selected Sapphire but the shop and bathrooms were open then) and he came back after a couple hours and got us.

 

We used Ron's tours but he seems to have gone out of business. There are many other operators that are reviewed on these boards.

 

You can reserve in advance or just join up a tour when you get off the ship.

Just an FYI, the dive center and newly remodeled public restrooms are open at Sapphire and there are food and drink options as usual.
