Hi folks, we are arriving in St. Thomas at 9:00 a.m.. We have a BOSS tour booked for 12:15. Leaving 3 hours for sight seeing, what are your recommendations of must see places in that 3 hours? I appreciate your input.

3 hrs before or after the excursion?

If before perhaps a walking tour of Charlotte Amalie and a chance to see the history and maybe a light snack at Petite Pump Room over the ferry terminal with a view of the seaplanes coming and going from their deck.

If after you could taxi or take the aerial tram to Paradise Point for the views of the harbor and drinks/lunch.

3 Hours before the excursion. So there is not enough time to go to Paradise Point before?

Yes, we usually "save" PP for the last stop but you can go there earlier. Are you docked at Havensight do you know? If so you're much closer by taxi or the aerial tram.

I guess we won't know until the date gets closer unless, you know of another way to research it. Also, thank in advance for your help in this.

BEFdoc you can check which dock you are at at the vinow dot com site, just select the cruise ship schedule link and then select the month you are there. Crown Bay is to the west of Charlotte Amalie, while Havensight (WICO) is to the east and a bit closer to the East End of STT and a short walk to the PP aerial tram platform.

You can often buy tram tickets through the ship excursions desk for ~$18pp roundtrip, or you can taxi up and take ther tram down if you'd like. It's a 15 min walk from the tram platform back to the ship if at Havensight.

Thanks Bluewater for the site. Looks like they have schedules out for September. I will keep checking back with them as the date gets closer.

Thanks for the advice.:)
