Still trying to find a good option in Ketchikan

We have Ketchikan Taxi Cab Tours booked for our excursion on Aug. 22. The cost is 4 people - 18.50 each per hour, 5 people - 15.00 each per hour, and 6 people - 12.50 each per hour ($74 per hour per van)

We rented an electric car and had a blast driving around town and stopping along the way. i don't know if they have kid safety seats'. it's $40/hr and that's probably all the time you would need to get to city park the totems then drive all the way down to the end of town where the 'real people' live. Creek Street is way better before 10AM when all the shops open. you can get amazing pictures and it is very serene. We didn't see the lumber jacks, but heard all the hooting and hollering. Definitely going to do the 'hokey' tourist thing when we go in june

Do you know the approximate cost of this?

 

 

Their rate is $74.00 per hour, regardless of number of people. Based on our experience with Alaska excursions, that is reasonable. To be able to design your own tour and have the flexibility to adjust as you go along was a real plus for us!

We took the Duck Tour. I wouldn't rave about it but I'm glad we did it. We did a narrated tour of town and the harbor. There's some footage of it at the 12 minute mark of a video I shot.
