Carnival Magic Inside Room

We are a family of 2 adults and a 7 year old. Will the inside room be enough room for us? I have never sailed on Magic. This will be our 2nd cruise but the first with our daughter. I just don't want to get on there and be miserable. Are the window or balcony rooms a lot bigger/ worth the extra money?

IMHO an inside would be tight but lots of cruisers do it. OV offers the most space 220sq feet. Bal 185sq inside about 35sq balcony. We have stayed in all. DH prefers OV on Main. I like to be higher up, not necessarily a balcony.

There are No sofas on the insides.

You might consider a Deluxe Ocean View on the Magic. These are 220 Sq. ft with a window on main deck and deck 2. You get the extra room to move around in plus an extra bathroom. They have the standard bathroom with sink, stool, shower. The 2nd bathroom contains a sink and junior tub/shower. We really enjoyed our Deluxe OV on the Dream last year. (these cabins are only on the Dream, Magic, Breeze).

Enjoy whatever you decide.

My nephew had a deluxe OV on bottom deck on Magic. The room was about the same size as our cove on deck 2 as the extra bathroom took up the extra space. The OV I had on the Triumph was the largest cabin I have been in. We had 3 adults in the cove and it was ok, not roomy, but we managed.

After two cruises of jamming the family in a balcony room (two teenage boys) I decided enough of that. This cruise we booked two rooms...a balcony and an interior. I know that would too expensive booking a single in a room in your situation, but point is you cannot have too much room IMO.
