Buying Boots

I was in Cozumel about four years ago. There was a boot shop just off the pier. I didn't buy and have been kicking myself ever since.

 

I'm going back in October. Does anyone know if there are any better places to shop for boots?

You're probably referring to Rogers Boots. It's a chain out of Cancun. Quality and sizing are suspect by some buyers. But if you like what you see and the price and check it over for quality and recheck it after they hand you the bag, go ahead and buy.

 

I would head off to the area "El Centro", behind the Plaza downtown and find a small shop or two that sells leather goods. Taxi drivers may know some stores. Or locals (not vendors) walking around downtown. You'll probably need to try on a few pair at a couple of different places.
