Question about new dining room menus...

Recommended Posts

I have looked on royal caribbean site and I have read the current menus.

On older menus there were some meal options that had an extra charge.

Does this still exist? Or is this now just for the surcharge restaurants?

Also is there any problem getting bar service in the dining room when you have one of the beverage plans?

Do many people also have a wine plan as well?

Thanks all

There are still several items you can purchase as an option in addition to the standard no charge items . (They include full lobster tail, a higher end steak option, and maybe a surf and turf option - all typically from the specialty restaurants).

The specialty restaurants also have their separate cover charges, but the menu items area all included with the cover charge.

Bar service is readily available in the MDR with your beverage plan. The bartender will come to your table after you are seated and will return as you ask.

Beverage service...an oxymoron, if I ever heard one! We always stop at a bar before heading to dinner, as service is pretty slow. That way, we have a drink to tide us over until someone asks if we would like a drink!

Us too. One of the reason we eat late, or as my mom and dad call it, at a civilized hour, stop and have a cocktail and don't be part of the cattle call of people waiting for doors to open.
