Our first cruise with this line.

Can any one help with these questions please.

What time are the main show,s ? What other evening entertainment is there ?

Is it possible to have use of the ships wheel chairs and are they allowed to be taken ashore ?

Thanks for any help

Hi Brian! First I would like to invite you over to the QE Roll Call section for this cruise. We have quite a nice lot of people who are going on different segments of the QE World cruise there. My husband and I are on the Southampton to Hong Kong segment. There is a lot of information regarding our cruise there as well.

I believe the shows are at 8:30 and 10:30 each night in the Theatre. There are a variety of musical performances in various venues throughout the ship as well as well as dancing, trivia competitions, karaoke, and the casino just to name a few.

I am sorry but I don't have experience about the wheels chair though. I checked with the FAQ on the Cunard website and it says,

"We have a small number of wheelchairs that can be hired on board with a $500 deposit which will be automatically added to your on board account. This will be removed from your on board account at the end of the cruise subject to the wheelchair being returned in its original condition. Please contact the Pursers desk once on board.

The wheelchairs on board are intended for those who find the cruise a little too tiring and not as a replacement for your own mobility equipment, however, should you arrive at the terminal with a mobility scooter which has been previously undeclared, you may be offered the use of one for the duration of your cruise. Please note that alternatives to this are to board the cruise without mobility equipment or not board the ship at all which is why, should you reply on a mobility scooter, we must be informed at time of booking and the correct cabin allocated for your needs.

If you require use of a wheelchair due to a medical issue which has arisen on board, one will be supplied via the Medical Centre without charge."
