Glory ?????

What can you tell two senior citizens who still like to have fun about the Glory. How are the shows? Is the cruise director good? Do they do the Marriage game? What type of music do the have? Live bands? Thanks for any imput.

Granny: Everson is the cruise director. I had him as an assistant director under Matt Michum.

 

Please make sure you attend EVERY music trivia that week. It was the best time. So many people-- and audience participation.

 

The DJ plays what the audience wants-there are different lounges for different live music too.- when are you sailing?

We are two seniors that sailed on the Glory this past May, and loved it. Beautiful serenity deck, adult aft pool with retractable roof for the rain (so glad to have had it in San Juan, where it poured), Guys Burgers and the new taco place, lots of shade available above the lido deck. The only two things we didn't like: Emerson, the cruise director was very annoying as he started each announcement with a long, drawn-out song. The first time we heard it, it was cute, but after a few days - really annoying. Also, the shows for the most part were awful. Very loud, and totally not our taste. The Motown, if I recall, was the only one we liked. Overall, though, we loved the Glory and would do it again in a heartbeat. Crew was great, loved Our Time Dining once we found a good team. Very clean and organized ship.
