What if....

I would say that most, who are sick the day of embarkation, lie. And this is why the Norovirus continues to run wild..

Precisely why I pay the $40 for travel insurance. It will cover me if I am too sick to board or if I become ill on board and am quarantined.

I inadvertently lied on a cruise once! I woke up feeling like crap, head stuffy, really scratchy sore throat, I figured it was my typical allergies kicking in again... I went to the drug store before heading to the port, picked up lots of Claritin D and cough drops (I find it soothes my throat when I have sinus drainage). I boarded, said I wasn't sick but by supper time I was hacking up a lung and had a full blown cold! I quarantined myself as much as possible for 2 days until I could talk to people without coughing in their faces!
