Viking Cruise Budapest to Amsterdam

We started our cruise from Budapest a couple of days ago, the to Bratislava, today in Vienna. So far the trip has been wonderful, water levels are perfect, the weather amazing, food and ship Idi really fantastic. It looks like the last week of August is a good time to see Budapest. No clouds in the sky in Vienna, on to our second cup of coffee and apple strudel. Viking crew has been excellent.

Enjoy ! We did the same cruise in June on the Idi and had a fabulous trip, everything was perfect !

Last trip the Idi went to Rotterdam as per marine traffic indicated, any reason why ?

Tom ...we will be leaving on the same cruise in 3 weeks!!!! Can you tell me about the sailaway? Did you get to see enough of the wonderful lights that illuminate the river...or should we take an additional night cruise before boarding. We are arriving in Budapest on Wednesday and board the ship on Saturday.

Budapest is a great city. We also came in a couple of days earlier. The sail away passes by the parliament at night and is fantastic. Vienna yesterday there is so much to see and do. Try Demel's coffee house, the coffee is good but the strudel is very good. Cafe Mozart attached to the Sacher Hotel in the morning also had very good coffee and strudel.
