MikeACY Posted September 22, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2014 We will be sailing in January Vision of the Seas 7 day cruise. With all the restrictions on baggage weight with the airlines, wondering if I will need to bring a suit for "formal nights" if I plan to eat in the main dinning room. Although suggested, I know carnival dropped that requirement. Thank you Mike

PilotJeff30 Posted September 22, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 22, 2014 Fresh off the Vision's 9/15 sailing and I can tell you, no, a suit is not needed. I saw several bathing suit and tank tops in the dining room on Formal night, let alone every night. Most were in slacks, dress shirt, and tie. Even fewer in suits and I only saw one or two in tuxedos.
