can you hear any prop noise staying in an AFT cabin on deck 2?

Depends.

Some report you can feel the vibration and shuddering when leaving or entering a port,

And you will know when you are back home because everything suddenly becomes quiet

we will love the OV from the AFT cabin but I wonder if I should change cabin.....

we have been in the aft several times. it's not that big of a deal for us...we were on higher decks however.

 

Yes there is shaking you will certainly feel. I consider it our alarm when we are pulling in to ports. It wakes us up and gives us plenty of time usually to head out to our balcony and view.

 

Lower decks i can only imagine it would be more noticeable. I cannot say sound was an issue for us, but we were above the disco....

You will certainly hear it but not for long it does not bother us at all.
