There are reviews for 6144 &6146 ( both starboard) but port would be very similar.

Agree, the S-Cabin Spreadsheet Sticky at the top of this Forum is the place to start.

LIBRARYLADY19 maintains it, her latest update appears on Page 109 (Reply 2179).

As the list is constantly being added to you will also want to skim thru the entries after her last update to the last page of the topic (think it goes to page 114 today), just to see if there are any other mentions

Also of note... The S-Class Ships all share a similar footprint, although occasionally the cabin numbers differ... However cabins in the same physical locations should have the same pros & cons

I did a quick look at the S-Class Deck Plans for you.

Cabin 6145 is forward on "the bump"... She is the 5th Cabin in on the Port Side, her matching cabin on Starboard is 6146. And this cabin number is consistent for this location on all 5 of the S-Class Ships... So if you find a review for either cabin number the results should be the same

Of note... I see on the Celebrity Website the following quote for these 2C Category Cabins:

Veranda staterooms feature floor to ceiling sliding glass doors, a sitting area with a sofa, two beds that convert to a queen, bath with shower stall and washbasin, vanity, and a television. Category 2C cabins have an unobstructed horizon view but obstructed views when looking down to the water. [/Quote]

So there should be nothing to block your view outwards... Just if you look down towards the water (expect that to be a Tender / Lifeboat as they are on Deck 5)

Hope this helps somewhat,

Cheers!

Here is a review I posted upon our return. We were in cabin 6145 on the Eclipse. You can find my review under the thread S-Class Cabin Information Compilation submitted on September 10th, 2014, 10:35 PM. I hope this helps.

Ship: Eclipse

Cabin: 6145

Deck: 6

Class: 2B Veranda

Area: Forward

Bed near: Balcony

Quiet: Majority of time

Balcony view: unobstructed, excellent

Balcony size: normal

Wind a problem: No

Soot a problem: No

Problems/comments: This was a Baltic cruise. Embarkation and debarkation occurred on Deck 5 immediately below this cabin. We could hear every "ding" as passenger cards were scanned. This occurred again at the port in Zeebrugge. Noise was also heard a couple of hours before arriving in Zeebrugge at 7:00am and Southampton at 5:30am as preparations for disembarkation were made. We heard no noise from the "Crew Only" door located across the hall from this cabin. We did notice some smoke from the smoking area below this cabin on deck 5. We would probably stay in this cabin again if it were the best available. Just be aware of the drawbacks. Would probably not have issues with embarkation or debarkation on Caribbean cruises since these activities take place on decks 2 and 3 in the Caribbean.
