Yes but the rules aren't always enforced. If ordering a taxi you can ask for one with a car or booster seat, if you are going to a taxi rank that may be more difficult, we found some did have a booster seat in the boot for our five year old grand daughter.

We pre booked four journeys with auto villars and requested a booster seat and each time the car with equipped with one.
