belle42118 Posted April 26, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 26, 2004 Eye Perfector from Avon. Had been out for years and they discontinued it. They replaced it with Anew. Although more expensive, it didn't work as well. Everyone must of been requesting the other, because they brought it back last summer.
natndon Posted April 27, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 27, 2004 There is a product made by Earth Therapeutics called Hydrogel Under-Eye Recovery Patch. They are WONDERFUL. They are easy to apply and will stay put. I keep mine in the refrigerator....put them on for 15- 20 minutes in the am when getting ready for work..very convenient. They feel WONDERFUL. They come in packets of 5 pairs and cost around $7.99. I order them directly from Earththerapeutics.com, which frequently has free shipping specials, but they are also available at Kohls. They contain green tea, aloe vera, cucumber and chamomile.
dory111 Posted April 28, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 28, 2004 i remember seeing a movie with Sandra Bullock, where she was an FBI agent/beuty pageant contestant. they had her to use preparation-H for the little baggies under the eyes. LOL! wonder if it works....
Travelingal Posted April 28, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 28, 2004 I can vouch for the preparation-H for undereye puffiness. It does shrink those 'roids - wherever they may be! I read somewhere that alot of fashion models use it all the time. Golden 2004 Wind 2002 Grandeur 1999
chicaletta Posted June 15, 2004 #6 Share Posted June 15, 2004 I have to agree that the best thing I found for puffy eyes was Preperation-H. Learned this from a friend who is a nurse, I thought she was crazy but it worked!! Star Princess 11/14/
nosnobunny Posted June 15, 2004 #7 Share Posted June 15, 2004 Cool cucumber slices placed over the eyes for a few minutes has always helped me. Guest Posted June 16, 2004 #10 Share Posted June 16, 2004 Now, a question about using Preparation H. You put it on, but do you leave it on when you apply makeup or rinse it off before? If you rinse it off, how long, on average, does it take to work? Thanks! chicaletta Posted June 16, 2004 #11 Share Posted June 16, 2004 Myself, I just put it on and then did my make-up routine. You don't need much and of course be sure not to get in your eye If only Preperation-H just came out with an all over body cream Star Princess 11/14/

Cruise Miriam Posted June 17, 2004 #13 Share Posted June 17, 2004 I sometimes use a mask that I keep in the fridge all the time. Like Beth's cucumber slices, it's cool and reduces puffiness. Stupid question on the Prep H -- can I assume those of you who use it use the cream, not the ointment? chicaletta Posted June 17, 2004 #14 Share Posted June 17, 2004 I have never tried the ointment, I think that would be a little too greasy. The cream works wonders!!! Star Princess 11/14/
FLJudi Posted June 18, 2004 #15 Share Posted June 18, 2004 I find that a moist teabag (cooled off) kept on the "bags" helps to shrink them too. FLJudi Constellation British Isles/Norwegian Fjords Millennium Mediterranean
