Water Buses in Venice

I was wondering if anyone knew if the water buses in Venice operated on Christmas Day and New Years day

Yes, but on limited holiday schedules. Just google holiday vaporetto schedule and you can check it out.

The website from which you can download all the vaporetto schedules is www.actv.it. There is an English option (upper right hand corner) for much of the informational text although the schedule itself is in Italian. However, it is pretty easy to figure it out.

 

We found it very helpful when deciding how to get from San Basilio to the Sta. Lucia train station after we disembarked our cruise last September and wanted to catch a train to Milan.
