Using Carnival transportation from airport

We are flying into Jacksonville and will be using the ground transportation that Carnival provides to get to the ship-my question is this, once at the port, is your luggage given back to you to find a porter to tote, or is it automatically just sent to your cabin?

The last time we used Carnival's transport from the airport, we were given our baggage back at the port and then needed to pass it on to the porters... with a tip, of course. Any more, we take care of our own transportation. Either a taxi or shuttle from the airport, or whatever the hotel provides if we come in a day ahead of time.

Thanks, that's what I needed to know. I usually travel with DH, but this cruise I am doing with an old friend, who's hubby wants to make sure that everything is taken care of from start to finish. EE gads, two old ladies traveling together? We have every thing planned to a T. Well, more singles for porters...put on list.:)
