Portofinos open on embarkation day?

Hello cruisers, wondering if any one knows if Portofinos is open on Liberty of the Seas embarkation day for Lunch? Would rather go there instead of windjammer.

Not open on embarkation day for lunch on Freedom. Mystery Dinner first night so excepted bogo second night.

Portofino has never been open for lunch, on any ship. Never had a lunch menu.

Thanks you for your help. I must have been thinking of Giovanni's which we want to on Allure on embarkation day.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I believe the question was referring to Diamond and Diamond Plus members being able to take food from the Windjammer into Portifino's on embarkation day just like other days.

 

On a past cruise on Liberty or Freedom we were able to collect both breakfast and lunch in the Windjammer and take it into Portifino to sit and eat.

 

I am just curious if this is still available or not?
