Spring Break avoidance dates?

We are heading over from the UK for the 1st March cruise on the Sun. Also sharing same concerns of the OP. Was under the impression that Spring Break was from mid-March onwards. (My fault for not researching properly)

Whilst families traveling with kids are no trouble to us, would like some reassurance that have not signed up to a week long 'booze cruise'!

I don't know where the sun sails from or how long your cruise is but if you google the spring dates of colleges within a 6 hour driving radius of the port you might get an idea if it is a big vacation week in that area
