Could someone tell me if they have live music in the atrium? And are there live bands and singers in some of the lounges? We love to listen to music in the evenings, and find some of the cruise lines can be so boring after dinner! Thanks for your help!

We just got off the Pride on October 5th. My husband and I enjoy dancing to Motown, etc. We were very happy with the band playing in the Starry Nigh Lounge. They did a great job and we danced the night away. Very often in the Atrium there was a solo guitar playing who was nice to listen to. I believe there is a solo singer in the casino but you couldn't hear him at all......sad he was even in there but I do believe I saw him in the atrium as well. We enjoyed all the live music - I hope you do too!!!:)

Of course there is music in the "disco" but we didn't go there - I think a DJ is in the disco. At the past cruisers party the DJ was playing in our opinion awful music. I asked him to play a few songs we could dance to and he was happy to do that so we even danced at the past cruisers party which was fun!

An FYI to add to this. As I'm sure you know, the Pride is currently in dry dock down in Freeport having a host of "2.0" upgrades done. As part of those upgrades, there is a 99.8% certainty, the Starry Nights Lounge is being transformed to the Red Frog Pub....Waaaaayyyy different than the Starry Nights lounge, however, the Red Frog Pub should have live music of some sort in there. On ship's we've been on that have the RFB, there's been solo performers, duets and even full bands in the RFB...A fun place to hang out.

Thanks for the info! I knew the Pride will be receiving the 2.0 upgrades but I had no idea that the Starry Nights lounge would change. The Pride is one ship we could always count on for a great night of dancing in that lounge. I just can't imagine the RFP having the same feeling as the Starry Nights Lounge...........oh well......I'm sure we will experience it in the future. Sort of disappointed but glad to have the info.

Yep....Red Frog Pub will be quite a change from Starry Nights, but the few times we've sailed the Pride, SN was pretty quiet at night. The ships we've sailed that have the RFP, it was pretty lively at night, but I can see why you'd be disappointed.

I agree, Starry Nights seems a bit quiet until people finally find it. Unfortunately Starry Nights and/or the band playing there was not "encouraged" much..........I talked to so many people about Starry Nights while on the ship and they had no idea where it was........sad......

As long as the RFP has a dance floor with good music we will be fine but I'm sad to see Starry Nights be a thing of the past..........

Thanks for the info........:)
