Can anyone tell me if either of these cabins have metal railings? We are planning a family trip and have found a really good deal on these cabins which have larger balconies; however, before booking we want to make certain the railings are made of plexiglass.

No contest. Choose C706 and C708 for several reasons. There will be a lot less movement in those cabins. There is less movement aft than forward. Also C706/708 are not all the way aft whereas C101/102 are all the way forward (the very front of the bow). It could be very bumpy and windy at the bow especially if the weather does not cooperate.

C706/708 are more conveniently located. They are near the elevator and you will have easy access to the buffet and the main dining room, which are both aft. Last C706/708 are next door to each other rather than on opposing sides of the ship like C101/102, which will be handy since you are family traveling together. There is a door between the balconies that can be propped open so you can have easy access to each other's cabins if you wish.
