Ancora Tour Operator

Hello,

I am curious whether anyone here have used Ancora Tour (http://www.europeshorexcursions.com/) for any of the Mediterranean short excursions, and if so, what are your experiences?

you will see many threads about tour venders in the cruise ports. While I have no personal experience with the company you mention, they sound like one of the tour broker type operations. Generally these are cheaper, but people have reported problems contacting the actual vender and occasionally missed connections with the actual vender providing the tour, who is not the business you gave your money to.

Hi and thanks for your reply. I did go through the Med section but am not able to find any specifics on the type of excursions like those offered by Ancora. Ancora do appear to be a broker type, however we can pay directly with the operator/guide. We are looking into excursions from Bari to Alberobello and Polignano A Mare.
