PVP question on price reduction

PVP are paid and compensated by number of bookings not cost of cruise. So unlike a TA who will sometimes have commission reduced, a PVP has no reduction in salary when you are approved for price reductions.

Some PVP just like some TA will actively check for price reductions others will not.

Thanks, I needed to know that. I have a pvp, but my son in Florida is going on a Carnival cruise with a group and I'm invited, but they are using a TA in Florida. I'm in CT and would rather use my pvp to book for me and get the credit.

Could book with the PVP then transfer it to the TA. But you wouldn't get the group perks.
