Oscars on Silhouette

I am sailing on Feb 22, which happens to be the night of the Oscars. I was wondering if Celebrity has shown these types of events in the past. I know my priorities are kind of skewed, but I am one of those people. ;)

As I recall, the Oscars are broadcast on ABC. This network is not normally one of the stations carried on Celebrity. You might want to ask, when you board, if they could arrange to at least carry the show in one of the bars.

Thanks. I vaguely remember from my previously sailings with Celebrity that ABC is not on the channels offered. I will ask when I get on board.

I have sailed a couple times during the Oscars and they did show them, and there was a big viewing party. This has been a number of years so not sure of the current status. Generally, even if they do not normally stream the channel, if it is available to them on their satellite they try to show it as they know it is so popular.
