Susky Posted October 11, 2005 #26 Share Posted October 11, 2005 Susky....with your recent feedback, we have completely redone our map that we give our customers at Captain Van's Rentals. It's now clear and concise, and full of the same pertinent information...thanks for your feedback!:) Awesome, Murray. One more reason for me to hurry back! :D
tidecruiser Posted October 12, 2005 #27 Share Posted October 12, 2005 Are there any problems parking scooters (and not getting stolen) at the beaches or other stops? Just curious.
Van's Dream Posted October 12, 2005 #28 Share Posted October 12, 2005 Are there any problems parking scooters (and not getting stolen) at the beaches or other stops? Just curious. Hello. If rented from Captain Van's, the machines come with a security cable and lock. In addition, you can lock the front forks....NOTE: I have never had a scooter theft in 9 years (knock on wood). In regards to parking, that is the really advantage of a scooter. Most beaches have minimal beach access and next to nil for parking. A scooter can parked under a TREE!!! Thanks for asking!:)

KMMCRUISER Posted October 24, 2005 #30 Share Posted October 24, 2005 Murray, So sorry we did not get to meet you & rent the scooters. Thanks to Wilma our itinerary changed. We will check with you next cruise about renting the scooters! Hope all is well, and you didn't get hit to hard by the storms. Kristin
SeaPA1 Posted October 26, 2005 #31 Share Posted October 26, 2005 You might want to try another email to CaptVan's. Internet service is often spotty on the island & from what I'm told it was worse than normal due to complications from Hurricane Wilma (much of the island was without power for a few days).
