Questions About Sydney Terminal

Hello,

 

I have a couple of odd questions regarding the Sydney Overseas Passenger Terminal. We are booked on Solstice which boards from 11:30am I believe but our flights arrive at 9:20. If we go straight to the terminal is there somewhere we can wait? Will it be open? Will there be refreshments available to purchase and bathroom facilities? We don't want to be hauling our luggage around Sydney.

Vikstar: You may want to either post this question on the Australia and New Zealand Cruise Critic forum. We were in the OPT twice last October. At that time it was undergoing a massive renovation. While we didn't see any refreshments for purchase, bathrooms were certainly available.

By the time you travel to OPT you will not have much time until your 11.30am boarding time anyway but baggage drop off should be open by then.From the baggage drop-off just walk up the steps to the street that runs parallel to the OPT or the ramp nearby & you will see the Holiday Inn (for rest rooms) & a few doors down there is a mini-mart for cold drinks etc with a couple of coffee shops close by too. Have a great trip.:)

Hi there,

 

Just checked your disembarkement time. You have plenty of time. When you get to the OPT, drop off your luggages, I am sure you'll be able to board and enjoy lunch on board instead. If you wish you can wonder around Circular Quay, there is McDonalds. You can check out the Opera House - before boarding time.
