JC168 Posted January 26, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 26, 2015 Has anyone been on the Gumbalimba Park and catamaran excursion with Murphy's tour? I heard that Gumbalimba Park do not sell tickets to individuals unless you join the ship excursion package. Not sure if this is true? In addition, we are sailing out of Norwegian Dawn which docks at Roatan between 8 am to 5pm. Not sure if this time frame will allow us to do both Gumbalimba Park and Catamaran (Jolly Rogers)? Thanks. Rare crewsweeper Posted January 26, 2015 #2 Share Posted January 26, 2015 (edited) First, haven't done this excursion, but, yes Gumbalinda Park will not sell day passes to cruise ship passengers. Second, I believe NCL ships switch to local time at their ports of call. They're on Central Standard Time and do not observe daylight savings time. If you sail after March 8th, NOLA time will be an hour ahead of Roatan, if NCL does not shift. However, assuming the starting time of the excursion, you should be able to do the entire excursion in plenty of time, probably 3P CDT/4P CST. Note that if this is an excursion offered via NL, you'll not have to worry about being a tad late and if there's delays on the cat, they do have engines. You'll probably only snorkel about an hour and then an hour/hour half at Gumbalinda. Edited January 26, 2015 by crewsweeper
